Someone please save my life, my np-50 battery for my Fuji camera has just died for some unknown reason!
I'm looking for one online but they're all going to take a few days to get here, does anyone have a camera battery or a camera that I could borrow tomorrow? It's my son's school play and I can't miss out on taking pictures or video-ing it.

Believe it or not, none of my nearest and dearest have a decent camera! Crazy right? They're all smartphone-crazy, but an iPhone or Blackberry camera just isn't as good as an actual camera with a proper lens now is it?
Any help appreciated!

I must say, my brother is an absolute genius with the kids, they absolutely adore him!
Maybe it's because he's a bit younger, or perhaps a bit immature and more on their level (haha - sorry bro!) but they have such a great time together, the kids love it when he comes to visit.
He came and babysat on the weekend so we could go out for a meal and a drink, and quite frankly a break(!), and they've barely stopped talking about him since!

Although they've had enough time to stop talking about him and play with their Nintendos, thanks to the new R4 game cartridges he brought them. They're full of games, so hopefully that'll keep them happy for a while and stop them nagging us for new DS games any time soon.
Maybe we should get him to quit his job and he can come and be our manny!

Is it a good idea to buy shows online? I'm in desperate need of new shoes but can't find anything in the shops, and I quite frankly detest shopping, so I've found the perfect pair of mens trainers online. And they seem to be a lot cheaper than on the high street, bonus!

The only problem is I'm a half size, I usually just go to the size bigger, but sometimes it depends on the shoes. Is it a bad move to order them online? I can always send them back, but then I'd be paying extra in postage and packing charges, which would totally remove the saving money aspect of getting them online.
I might just go for it, what the hell. If they're much too big that's obviously a manufacturing problem because they should fit me with a little bit of space, so I'll return them on that basis and demand my postage be paid for!

I really want to go on holiday, and the kids are at a perfect age now where they'd really enjoy and get the most out of a trip to Disneyworld - in Orlando, Florida.
It'd be great for us too, we've not been to Florida before and it looks amazing, lots of shopping, and the heat!

The only problem is how much it costs, I'd like to be able to book a trip without having to draw out a load of Rowan Dartington savings, is it possible?
I know holidays are expensive, and holidays with kids are expensive, but this seems to be slightly on the astronomical side. But maybe that's because I'm looking at staying in the Disney Resort - it's probably much cheaper elsewhere, but looks so fantastic!

My kids haven’t stopped all half-term about getting a trampoline. They have been doing my head in!
All I can think about is how unsafe they are and the fact that I know one of them will fall off and end up breaking their leg or an arm!
So they didn’t manage to persuade me to get them on this half-term, but I am sure with the six weeks holiday coming up I will hear nothing else but that.
I was speaking to my friend the other day and she said I can get an enclosed 8 ft trampoline and they are safe as they have a netting all the way round.
But I am still not sure. The trampoline still has exposed metal parts and they just look dangerous. What do you think?
